Same-Sex Divorce is in fact the same as a heterosexual divorces with one exception. One of the grounds for the breakdown of the relationship in a divorce for same-sex couples cannot regard adultery as a ground for divorce as adultery is a legal term which only applies to an exclusive relationship between a man and a woman. On the contrary, if you wanted to use unfaithfulness as a ground for divorce, you would have to claim that your partner has demonstrated unreasonable behaviour.
All other procedures are the same as a heterosexual divorce. For more information please visit our divorce page.
