The main purpose of a paralegal is to assist fee-earners with core legal duties including bundle preparation, some legal drafting, file management and any carrying out any other support functions required by the solicitors and partners.

Our paralegals are usually graduates with a 2:1 or above and have gained a minimum of one year’s working experience at a UK law firm. They should have a strong work ethic and be team players within the firm. Strong IT skills and confidence in using Microsoft packages particularly Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary in today’s legal office environment.

At Bloomsbury Law, our paralegals are offered to work closely with highly reputable solicitors and partners within the firm who are highly respected in the legal industry. We expect all our staff to be keeping up to date with current events within the law sector and get involved in the firm’s social events. All our paralegals have an opportunity to progress to more senior roles within the firm after a years’ service.
