You will need to be either a law graduate or a holder of a Graduate Diploma in Law as well as having completed the LPC. We also expect you to demonstrate a good understanding of how a busy legal office operates. The ability to draft legal documents is important, and you will be comfortable interpreting and advising on legal matters to clients.

Experience in a legal environment will be an advantageous, but is not essential. What matters more are your personal qualities. Enthusiastic and highly motivated, you bring a ‘can-do’ attitude to every challenge. You should be focused, objectively minded thinker with excellent organisational skills, and be able to work accurately with minimal supervision. Crucially, you should also be a skilled communicator and a collaborative team member who gets involved within the firm.
