Category A Prisoners

The highest category prisoners are Category A security classification. This means they are not trusted in open conditions. They are given the opportunity to have this reviewed and many naturally want to “come off the book” by being reduced from category A to category B so that they can progress through the dispersal system. We can assist as this area is no longer funded by Legal Aid. Once the Category A dossier is received, we can review the dossier and submit representations for the category review.

At Bloomsbury Law, we understand that everyone’s case is different. We are here to listen to your situation, answer any questions you may have and advise you accordingly once we are instructed. If you or someone you know is seeking legal advice on this matter, please get in contact with one of our specialists.
