Compassionate Release

Legal Aid is no longer available for matters on compassionate release. There are a number of reasons as to why a prisoner could be permitted to have compassionate/day release from prison. If you need advice on this subject as to what is compassionate release, contact us for further advice. If a prisoner is suffering with a serious health condition and wants to be considered for compassionate release (or prisoner early release) contact us for further advice. If a prisoner has the necessary grounds to apply for this, we can submit a written application to the Governor requesting the same.

At Bloomsbury Law, we appreciate that every situation is different. If you or someone you know is seeking legal advice on compassionate release, please get in contact with one of our specialists. We will listen to your situation, answer any questions you may have and advise you accordingly once we are instructed.
